Initial testing and external quality control of waste and recycling containers are solely carried out by accredited test institutes.
In order for a test institute to be accredited, it must fulfill the technical test and personnel requirements according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for the relevant required test standards (e.g. DIN EN 840-5).
Accreditation ensures that the test requirements of the GGAWB are effectively and completely fulfilled by different test institutes.
Currently, the GGAWB is working in cooperation with the SKZ - Süddeutsches Kunststoffzentrum.
